Between football starting up, baseball coming to an end and hockey coming round the corner it is really the best time of year for sports fans! Besides donning your team's swag or your favorite jersey, maybe you want to craft something special. Or, in the case of idle hands while your team is playing hard and you need something to do to keep you from pulling your hair out, you can do some of these while you're watching the game!

I realize not everyone needs a baseball diaper but if you did this one looks great! You could always make it out of football fabric, too!

This quilt is a great way to keep your special hockey fan warm! Add a logo and it becomes a specialized keepsake. This quilt also inspires us to make a football field or basketball court, even a baseball field!

Again, not everyone is in need of a onsie, but you could do the same on a t-shirt, apron or hat. Switch up the colors to represent your favorite team!

This is the perfect project for idle hands! A football beanie to keep you warm while you watch the game. This could be easily switched up into a baseball beanie too!

Pick up some fleece from a Joann Fabric store and whip up a no-sew team throw pillow! On a similar note you could even make a blanket to keep you warm while you cheer on your team.

Yes, quite a few of these projects are meant to keep you warm. It may not be the correct temperature yet to do so, but hopefully soon that cool Fall weather will kick in and we can use these new goodies to their full potential! Until then, use them to cheer on your team and maybe paint a football on a pair of shorts!

Have a great weekend!
